AP Racing launches new caliper security code

AP Racing launched its unique security code for each caliper in the third quarter of 2016 to help customers distinguish between genuine and counterfeit products.

         AP Racing's new system allows customers to use a smartphone to scan the serial number on a caliper or use a website to prove and verify that their newly purchased caliper is a genuine caliper. Anti-counterfeit labels will be attached to all AP Racing calipers that are generally available.

        This new system has been introduced in the third quarter of 2016 and will be used in all of AP Racing's family of calipers, and will support our commitment to manufacturing quality at the Coventry headquarters in the United Kingdom.         Here's how to show you how to identify the steps. Take the latest AP Racing CP8520 caliper as an example. Follow the steps below to check the authenticity of your caliper. (The newly arrived AP calipers in August have a security code)

1. Search for AP Racing downloads in major application markets.

2. Find the product's security label, as shown above.

3. Open AP Racing's software and click on the application's center code location as shown in the illustration;

4. The green scan box is aligned with the caliper's security code label and is ready to click on the scan box until the scan is successful (be careful not to tremble).

5. After the scan is successful, we need to follow the list of names - first name / last name / country / email / address / where to buy the product and product serial number (S / N code);

6. Accurately fill in the prompt information, please carefully check again and again as shown in the figure, must not rush to fill in the information, especially the product serial number, otherwise you will not be able to query the information you expect.

7. Click “√” after confirmation and click “×” to cancel the re-filling of relevant information.

8. After clicking confirm, the above situation will appear: "Registration is successful" Congratulations on your purchase of the authentic AP Racing product. At the same time, we will receive an AP Racing official mail and prompt to purchase genuine information. For example, the product qualification provided by the above-mentioned vehicle quality assessment is a genuine caliper. “Registration failed.” This product is a counterfeit product, which means that the product you purchased is a fake AP Racing product.

9. Special attention should be paid if there is a situation in the above picture after the product code we received. Shows that this caliper has been registered and confirmed, we will still receive a prompt for repeated scans, then we have to contact the seller of the goods, they will give you verify the authenticity of information as in step 8. Therefore, it is recommended not to scan the code at random, otherwise verification will become cumbersome, but you can still verify the authenticity of the product.
