Before we introduced the basics of AP Racing's street calipers, in fact, apart from the street version used in everyday street racing, AP Racing also has the competitive calipers used on the track. Today we will take a look at some of the commonly used AP Racing sports editions. The basics of the caliper make it easier for us to understand more about the application of the track version.
A. AP Racing 5000+ Series

II: AP PRO 5000R Series
After AP Racing introduced the brake calipers with Radi-Cal technology in recent years, it is said that the brake modification industry has caused waves that have not been seen for many years. Among them, AP Racing is the successor to the previous AP Racing Pro 5000+ series with high market share. The PRO 5000 R Series, Radi-Cal design to achieve "true biography": forging materials, CNC precision machining, a lot of lightweight design, but also benefit from the lightweight design, caliper body has a smaller size and greater heat dissipation Space, piston and brake pad contact surfaces are also ventilated and heat-dissipating design. Compared with the PRO 5000+ racing series, the performance is more powerful, the stability is also higher, the appearance is also more modern, and it is deeply loved by players who are competitive.

On November 9-11, 2016, AP Racing exhibited the latest 2017 Pro 5000R four-piston caliper at the Professional Motorsport World Expo (PMWE) in Cologne, Germany. The new calipers are designed in a large scale, and the discs can be used with a maximum of 380mm. At the same time, in order to increase the braking response speed, the pistons have added 4 pounds and 4 pounds of reinforced springs inside the pistons.
The new 4 piston series product code is: CP9446, CP9447, CP9448, CP9449, CP9450, CP9451.
The new 4-piston caliper series is suitable for larger brake discs: 380x28mm or 380x32mm. The CP9448 is particularly suitable for the front wheel: the piston range is 49.4cm2. The CP9449, CP9450, and CO9451 are particularly suitable for the rear wheels: the piston range is 30.9 cm2 (CP9449), 27.2 cm2 (CP9450), 22.8 cm2 (CP9451).
Three: AP Racing Radi-CAL second generation caliper 95 series
With the successful launch of the Pro 5000 R Series, AP Racing used the same design concept application on the high-performance street version to produce the new World Radi-CAL second generation series.
The newly forged 4 and 6 piston series incorporates our patented technology to ensure that customers can enjoy the superior performance of Radi-CAL. In addition, the caliper also contains the functions required on the street, including dust-proof seals, painted surfaces, and sound-reducing accessories.
The new World Radi-CAL second generation has reduced weight compared to the first generation launched in 2014, with better heat dissipation and better rigidity. The new series of designs is suitable for multiple vehicle platforms and applications, but it must be a common vehicle.
