All brake oil bottles are supplied in 500 ml bottles and meet the requirements of S.A.E J1703 and 1704.
AP Racing Factory R Dot5.1刹车油
R1, R2, R3, and R4 brake fluids are used only for racing. AP Racing recommends Factory R Dot5.1 for street cars.
All AP Racing brake fluids are based on Polyalkalene Glycol Ether (polyalkylene glycol) fluids rather than Silicone. AP Racing recommends using R3. Do not use R4 and R2 fluids in contact with any type of magnesium component (eg transmission or clutch components) as the gas generated as a result of a chemical reaction will prevent the hydraulic pressure of the clutch.
In order to obtain the best performance of the racing brake system, thoroughly and immediately drain the brake system and use the new AP Racing bottled brake fluid before each race. Remember that the brake fluid should never be reused. Brake temperature monitoring can be determined by using the AP Racing temperature sticker (CP2650-11 for temperatures in the 149-260 °C range) and temperature paint (CP2649-1 for temperatures in excess of 260 °C) to determine the extremes reached.
